DMG, a distributor of kitchen furniture and appliances, needed to scan and track thousands of inventory items in their new, massive warehouse. Their old scanning solution was no longer sufficient to provide the real-time visibility required across the entire facility. To meet this challenge, they worked with Datalogic and their partner Vierpool to implement a new rugged scanning solution.

Datalogic provided its PowerScan PM8300 industrial cordless scanners, which offered silent operation and roaming capability via the STAR Cordless System. The Datalogic solution was seamlessly integrated with DMG's ERP system, enabling real-time tracking of all goods without the need for stationary computers. The new system was quickly installed, and DMG immediately began processing hundreds of scanned kitchens and parts, dramatically improving their warehouse management efficiency.
