Agrocanillas S.L., a Spanish fruit producer, needed to comply with new fruit traceability laws that required every pallet, crate, and bag to be tracked from warehouse arrival to shipping. To meet this challenge, the company turned to Datalogic for automated data capture and bar code reading across its packing and production lines.

Datalogic, working through its partner Captura de Datos, implemented a solution built around Gryphon™ M cordless readers, Matrix™ 2000 scanners, and DS2100A fixed scanners, connected via STARGATE™ RF and STAR Cordless System™ technology. The system enabled real-time tracking of fruit, pallets, and crates, including damaged bar codes, giving Agrocanillas full visibility into production status and shipment flow while speeding up handling and packaging operations.
