Brødrene Dahl rolls out 300 handheld Memor terminals with Datalogic across 58 stores

Brødrene Dahl, Denmark's largest plumbing wholesaler, faced the challenge of modernizing an obsolete store solution for handling its inventory and sales processes across 58 stores. They partnered with vendor Datalogic and, on the advice of their supplier Delfi, chose to implement the Memor™ mobile computer to improve accuracy and reliability in goods receiving, checkout, and stock counting.

The Datalogic solution involved deploying 300 Memor™ handheld terminals to read barcodes on over 13,000 products. This provided a user-friendly system for accurate goods receiving, streamlined customer checkout, and efficient inventory counts, with all data seamlessly integrated into the company's Movex ERP system. The project was a major success, resulting in very few operational problems and high satisfaction across the company, leading Brødrene Dahl to roll out a similar Datalogic solution for another 18 stores within its parent group.
