Autotrade & Logistics, part of the Koelliker Group, is an automobile logistics and transport company that needed to speed up and better manage vehicle handling across unloading, placement, and tracking. The company wanted to eliminate manual, paper-based processes and improve “dock to door” operations in harsh outdoor conditions, where operators needed rugged devices that could read barcodes through car windshields and work with gloves. Datalogic provided the mobile technology used in the project, centered on Memor 10 rugged PDAs.

Datalogic implemented Memor 10 rugged PDAs with wireless charging stations, swappable batteries, and support services, integrated with Telekom Assist software to provide real-time vehicle traceability across the Il Faldo compound. The solution delivered 100% visibility of vehicle locations, reduced operations handling time by over 15%, and increased daily car processing by up to 20%. Autotrade & Logistics also benefited from continuous LTE connectivity, improved uptime, and more efficient vehicle movement management throughout the site.
