A Datalogic Case Study
Atea Sverige AB, part of the Atea Group, runs a series of customer events across Sweden and needed a simple, affordable way to capture attendee data more accurately. Their challenge was to track seminar attendance, attendee interests, and follow-up information in real time, and Datalogic’s Gryphon GM4100 cordless bar code readers were used as the data-capture device.
Datalogic, working with Barex Nordic AB, implemented an attendee management system that scanned badge IDs at seminar entrances and exits and sent the data to laptop computers running Freefloat Link*One software. The solution enabled Atea Sverige AB to identify which seminars each delegate attended and who wanted follow-up contact, improving lead generation and giving suppliers better event data across 19 events and 2,500 attendees.
