A.S. Watson chooses the new Memor ™ for stock inventory

A.S. Watson Group, a major health and beauty retailer, required an efficient system for its frequent stock inventory checks in its Dutch retail chains. The challenge was to find a rugged, easy-to-handle mobile computer that could quickly and accurately manage stock counts while implement the Memor™ mobile computer from vendor Datalogic.

The solution from Datalogic involved using the Memor™ to enable a blind-counting process where workers are alerted to potential errors, such as double-counting or overlooked locations, in real time. This resulted in a quick, efficient, and highly reliable inventory management system. The successful implementation led to A.S. Watson replacing virtually all its existing handheld terminals with several hundred new Memor™ devices, a clear indication of user satisfaction and the solution's measurable positive impact on their operations.
