Scentre Group, owner and operator of Westfield’s living centre portfolio in Australia and New Zealand, needed to improve their online customer experience and extract meaningful insights ahead of a website upgrade. They engaged Datalicious to implement tracking using Google Tag Manager (with analysis via Google Analytics 360) to capture user interactions and inform digital design decisions.
Datalicious tagged key web pages, worked onsite with Scentre Group and their developers, and used Google Analytics 360 to compare old and new site performance and recommend optimisations. As a result, optimisations continued after launch and traffic to intent-driven pages increased—21% more visits to the centre hours page, 10% longer time on the parking page, and 15% more page views to the food and dining page—while Datalicious helped identify additional pages needing further improvement.
