Solocal built automated pricing and budget systems with a 3x faster time to production thanks to Dataiku

Solocal is a digital services company whose Booster Contact product offers customers higher visibility on search engines through optimized campaigns and bids on Google and Bing AdWords. Facing the challenge of turning large volumes of advertising and business data into production-grade AI, Solocal needed automated, per-customer pricing and daily-tuned ad bidding (the pricer and the budgetizer). To operationalize these models and close the gap between R&D and production, Solocal adopted Dataiku (Dataiku on Google Cloud Platform) as their core platform.

Using Dataiku, Solocal built end-to-end Dataiku flows for the pricer (ML modeling, feature engineering, geodemographic updates and quote generation) and the budgetizer (data syncing with ad platforms, daily model tuning, dynamic budget and bid allocation across Google and Bing). Dataiku gave data scientists more independence, consolidated a fragmented toolchain, and reduced time-to-production by at least 3x, delivering faster deployments, more robust pipelines, and smoother overall processes.
