SLB People Analytics needed a single data science and AI platform to make SLB’s people and talent data easier to access, reuse, and act on through no- and low-code tools. Working with Dataiku, the team set out to improve HR decision-making, employee retention, and career development while making analytics more efficient for talent managers globally.
Dataiku helped SLB People Analytics build data pipelines and predictive models that flag at-risk employees early and recommend actions on compensation, skills, or scheduling. The impact has been significant: the team estimates it has helped retain $18–45 million annually from the $80–200 million cost of unplanned attrition, while the Skills2Career Dashboard also shifted hiring toward internal upskilling and saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in recruitment and external hiring costs.
