SLB People Analytics, the HR analytics team at global energy company SLB, needed a more scalable way to manage the end-to-end talent lifecycle across recruiting, compensation, performance, and retention. Working with Dataiku, they wanted to reduce duplicate data work, improve transparency and collaboration, and make it easier for both technical and non-technical employees to contribute to data projects.

With Dataiku, SLB People Analytics built a centralized platform for reusable data pipelines, visual workflows, and shared project visibility, supported by Dataiku Academy training and the project gallery. The result was faster project delivery, stronger compliance and fairness monitoring, and better retention insights; in a one-month pilot, more than five projects were deployed, and SLB estimated its predictive attrition work helped retain $18 million to $45 million of the $80 million to $200 million annual attrition cost.
