John Lewis Partnership (JLP) set out to turn its AI ambitions into production reality, but initially struggled to move models out of notebooks and into live business use. Working with Dataiku, JLP needed a scalable MLOps foundation to speed up deployment, improve governance, and support a growing portfolio of machine learning use cases across the business.
Dataiku helped JLP operationalize its AI strategy with reusable workflows, built-in governance, and a platform that connected data science from prep to production. As a result, JLP deployed 18 production-grade models, cut model iteration time from 10–12 weeks to 1–2 weeks, and reduced deployment timelines from months to about five weeks, delivering more than £40 million in value.
