Europcar Mobility Group, a global mobility service provider operating in 130 countries, faced critical forecasting and capacity challenges—especially for airport car rentals, which account for a large share of revenue. The company needed to combine massive, disparate data sources (fleet, reservations, passenger volumes, route openings, etc.) and democratize data science across teams, so they turned to Dataiku to power advanced forecasting, pricing, and field/capacity management initiatives.

Europcar assembled a cross‑functional team and used Dataiku to build machine learning models, automate data ingestion and preparation, and deploy dashboards and a predictive web app for stakeholders. With Dataiku, they achieved better availability of vehicles at stations, a more dynamic pricing structure, and overall improved process management with less customer waiting, while gaining the ability to anticipate airport line openings and adjust staff, fleet, and parking accordingly.
