EGA, Emirates Global Aluminum, needed to break down data silos and give employees across the business—from process engineers to project managers—trusted access to data, even for people with little or no coding experience. Using Dataiku with Databricks, EGA aimed to make curated data easier to find, understand, and use at scale, while supporting its growing citizen data science efforts.

Dataiku implemented no-code visual workflows on top of Databricks’ processing and storage layer, helping EGA democratize data access and collaborate more effectively between business teams and the central data group. The result was more problems solved across the organization, better support for core manufacturing and safety use cases, and a foundation for expanding into sales, marketing, supply chain, and generative AI initiatives.
