Air Canada wanted to break down silos and speed up its marketing and customer analytics work, especially for post-campaign analysis and predictive modeling. Using Dataiku, along with Snowflake and PowerBI, the airline sought to centralize data, make analysis more collaborative, and give business users faster access to insights without relying on manual, ad-hoc data science work.
Dataiku helped Air Canada automate and schedule post-campaign analysis in batch, pushing results into a single PowerBI dashboard and reducing analysts’ effort to a few hours one day a week. The team can now create 12 PCAs in 3.5 hours instead of two weeks for one, eliminating about 90% of campaign PCA requests and delivering an estimated 96% improvement over the previous process. Dataiku also cut predictive model build effort from weeks or months to hours, enabling faster MVPs and more democratized use of customer intelligence across marketing.
