How to increase conversions by 379% on Google Shopping

StubGroup Advertising’s PPC team took on an online novelty retailer whose Google Shopping performance was hampered by a very simple product feed and hundreds of disapproved items. To address the challenge they used DataFeedWatch’s data feed optimization and management software to rework the feed and provide Google with richer product information.

Using DataFeedWatch, StubGroup pulled product data from BigCommerce, rebuilt the feed with added attributes (gender, age group, color, product type), and used custom rules to fix disapproved products. After feed and campaign optimizations, Shopping clicks rose from 2,429 to 10,505 (a 333% increase) and conversions improved by 379% year‑over‑year, with DataFeedWatch playing a critical role in enabling those gains.
