Real Estate View, one of Australia’s leading property portals, was facing intensive scraper bot activity that accounted for an estimated 20–40% of its traffic and threatened attribution of its valuable listings. To meet a new partner requirement for scraping protection, Real Estate View selected DataDome’s bot protection solution to stop data theft while preserving site performance.

DataDome integrated quickly (under a week) via an Apache module that analyzes requests in real time without rerouting traffic, presenting CAPTCHAs or hard blocks to bots and allowing legitimate users through. As a result, Real Estate View now protects its listings, enjoys a largely “set-and-forget” service, and reports an estimated 15–20% reduction in infrastructure costs thanks to removed bot traffic.
