With customers running their own code on the platform, Arc XP required a single source of truth to detect malicious activity against its web applications and APIs, reduce noise, and improve collaboration among development, security, and operations teams.

Arc XP enabled Datadog Application Security Management (ASM) from its APM—without extra agents—to get real-time, code-level visibility and distributed tracing of attacks. ASM pinpointed vulnerable functions, matched rules and queries, reduced false positives, sped remediation and release velocity, improved total cost of ownership, and even detected a customer-facing SQL injection so Arc XP could alert the customer and coordinate a fix.
