Namify turns to Datadog to gain real-time visibility into critical production threats

Namify, a Springville, Utah–based manufacturer of identification and branding items that serves about 130,000 clients—including more than 65% of the Fortune 500—outgrew its existing security tooling as its product portfolio and user base expanded. The IT team lacked end-to-end visibility and the ability to correlate logs, traces, and application-layer events, leaving production blind spots and preventing confident detection and remediation of emerging threats.

By adding Datadog App and API Protection to its existing observability stack, Namify gained a unified view that correlates security events with traces and logs, automatically surfaces high-priority threats, and blocks malicious activity. When a large targeted SQL‑injection campaign (~100k attacks) hit, Datadog flagged the activity, produced rich context for rapid isolation and patching, and ensured 100% of successful exploits were captured (versus less than half before), simplifying investigations and improving Namify’s ability to scale securely.
