Australian Community Media (ACM), a Sydney-based publisher of more than 160 regional and agricultural mastheads, lost access to its monitoring tools after a corporate split, leaving its IT team with limited visibility into the systems that support advertising workflows and revenue. ACM deployed Datadog for infrastructure and centralized log management—ingesting logs (including from S3), using intuitive dashboards, anomaly detection, and Slack alerts—to create a single source of truth. The change delivered substantial time savings, simplified troubleshooting, and a shift from reactive firefighting to proactive problem prevention, while enabling further plans for AWS optimization.
