Leading Global Investment Management Organization Selectively Migrated Data Without Any Business Disruptions

Leading Investment Management Organization, one of the world’s top US wealth managers, needed to selectively migrate NICE application data from one Dell EMC Centera cluster to another so it could free up space on its existing system without disrupting business operations. The organization turned to Datadobi and its DobiMigrate platform migration software to assess what data was on the old Centera and determine what should be moved.

Datadobi implemented DobiMigrate to assess, analyze, migrate, and then delete the selected data from the original cluster. The project successfully migrated 17 TB of NICE data to the new Centera with no interruption to business and no need for new capital hardware purchases, helping the customer save money while cleaning up storage space.
