Refrigeration Supplies Distributor (RSD), the largest independently owned refrigeration parts and HVAC wholesaler in the western U.S. with 79 locations, was struggling with unreliable EMC storage (dual‑controller single‑disk arrays), slow backups and DR, and difficult management. On the recommendation of StablePath, RSD implemented DataCore software‑defined storage to virtualize its ERP and modernize backup and disaster‑recovery infrastructure.
