A DataCore Software Case Study
Investsotsbank (The Bank of Investment and Social Development) needed to replace a patchwork of disparate storage systems to support new 24/7 remote banking services, reduce the risk of service interruptions, and do so within a limited budget. After evaluating options, the bank selected DataCore and its SANsymphony software-defined storage to create a unified, highly available information environment.
DataCore implemented SANsymphony in about six months, consolidating mixed hardware into a single clustered storage layer (the bank licensed 16 TB of high-availability capacity) with 15-level auto-tiering and easier hardware upgrades (e.g., HDD-to-SSD). The result was seamless, cost-effective operation—over three to four years of reliable service—better resource utilization, reduced risk of downtime, and preserved prior storage investments, delivering the high availability and lower costs Investsotsbank required.
