Grupo Antolin chooses DataCore™ for the virtualisation of its storage systems

Grupo Antolin, a global leader in automotive interiors, needed to modernise and simplify a fragmented storage estate—centrally managed from Burgos—covering over 800 TB of data across dozens of sites and 160 plants. To virtualise and consolidate its distributed storage and improve performance and manageability, Grupo Antolin selected DataCore (SANsymphony) in partnership with implementation partner CISTEC Technology.

CISTEC deployed a fully redundant, hyper‑converged design using dual DELL PowerEdge R730xd nodes per site with DataCore SANsymphony providing in‑memory caching, auto‑tiering and virtual SAN capabilities. The DataCore solution delivered measurable results: 5x performance improvement, 100% elimination of inactive storage data, roughly 50% cost reduction, and simplified central administration with higher availability and scalability.
