External IT deployed DataCore’s SANsymphony as the universal storage controller and backbone for its hosted applications; DataCore’s software-based virtual SAN delivered dual‑side availability (A/B), seamless maintenance (allowing half the SAN to be taken down without production impact), asynchronous replication for disaster recovery, and substantial performance gains. As a result, DataCore enabled External IT to offer more consistent performance, reduced downtime during upgrades, greater flexibility in SAN creation, and a more cost-effective, scalable platform for its clients and reseller partners.
