Case Study: Yusen Logistics builds a company-wide data academy with DataCamp

A DataCamp Case Study

Yusen Logistics builds a company-wide data academy with DataCamp, logging 4,121 learning hours

Yusen Logistics, a global supply chain management company, faced the challenge of building a shared foundation for data literacy across its entire organization. Their goal was to upskill employees in both technical and non-technical roles to confidently work with data. To address this, they partnered with the vendor DataCamp to create a company-wide Data Academy.

The solution implemented with DataCamp involved building a flexible learning program organized around four role-based personas, using gamification to drive engagement. This resulted in significant measurable impact, including over 4,121 learning hours completed and 1,745 courses finished. Employees applied new skills to automate manual processes, reducing a week-long workflow to just a couple of hours, and the program successfully supported career development, enabling one employee to move into a data analyst role. DataCamp provided the platform for Yusen Logistics to build momentum toward a data-driven culture.
