Streaming on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform helps Statsig accelerate product growth

Statsig, a product experimentation and observability company, needed a way to rapidly scale its real-time data processing as it onboarded customers and ingested massive raw event streams. Since its launch in early 2021, Statsig has relied on Databricks streaming data pipelines on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform to support 10B+ events per day and help its teams build, test, and iterate quickly.

Databricks enabled Statsig to abstract away much of the complexity of streaming, letting engineers ship faster, ramp up in about a month, and manage ad hoc and production workloads in one place. The result was a 4-month product launch timeline, a 10x increase in experimentation velocity for customers, and a sharper real-time view of user behavior and business metrics.
