A Databricks Case Study
Swedbank, the largest bank in Sweden, was looking for a better way to integrate and analyze data to improve decision-making across the organization. To support its goals of reducing costs, increasing revenue, and enhancing customer experiences, Swedbank migrated existing capabilities and application services to the Databricks analytics platform in the Azure cloud, with Immuta used as a unified access control plane.
Using Databricks, Swedbank simplified parallelization and distributed computing, reduced the need to move data between workspaces, and enabled faster access to data at lower cost. The bank reported that the project was executed efficiently and was one of its fastest migrations ever, helping expand analytics use across the business and support more informed, efficient decisions.
