Databricks helped Gerdau consolidate tools, build a single source of truth with Delta Lake, securely share data with Delta Sharing, and strengthen governance with Unity Catalog. Using Photon, Gerdau cut average data processing time from 1.5 hours to 12 minutes, improving efficiency, lowering costs, and enabling new analytics and machine learning initiatives such as digital twins, predictive maintenance, and generative AI.
