AnyClip, a visual intelligence company, needed a more scalable data platform as its business and video data grew rapidly. Its initial Amazon Redshift setup struggled with very large histories and heavy reporting demands, causing slow queries and an unstable environment. After evaluating Snowflake, BigQuery, and Databricks SQL, AnyClip chose Databricks to support its analytics and reporting needs.

Databricks implemented Databricks SQL with materialized views and Delta Lake Liquid Clustering to improve query performance and stability. AnyClip reported up to 98% faster queries on multi-terabyte tables, with query times dropping from hours to as little as 30 seconds to 3 minutes. Databricks also helped make reporting 100% more stable, about 25% cheaper overall, and nearly 50% faster, while improving workflow efficiency and scalability.
