Crisis Text Line provides text-based mental health support and crisis intervention in English and Spanish, supporting more than 1.3 million conversations in the past year. Before working with Databricks, the organization struggled with a fragmented, siloed data environment that made real-time decisions, operational efficiency, and research impact harder to achieve.

Using the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, Crisis Text Line centralized its data, improved governance and collaboration, and deployed AI tools such as a conversation simulator and model lifecycle management with MLflow. Databricks helped reduce the time needed to make critical datasets available, strengthened secure access controls, and improved volunteer training; the simulator has already been used by over 50 volunteers and clinicians to build confidence and readiness.
