TerraDX Technologies, founded in 2023, is using AI and machine learning to improve geoscientific exploration for critical minerals and natural hydrogen. Using Databricks, TerraDX built and deployed its HORIZON deep learning model for mineral classification in less than a month. Databricks enabled the team to streamline everything from data streaming and feature storage to model training and deployment, helping HORIZON reduce the area of interest by 98% and produce highly precise mineral system maps that guide exploration work more effectively.
