A Databricks Case Study
Quago is an online gaming behavioral analytics provider that helps game companies detect cheating and fraud by analyzing players’ device sensor data and in-game activity. To scale its platform cost-effectively and improve infrastructure management, Quago migrated to the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
Using Databricks, Quago built its models on Delta Lake and Spark, enabling faster model updates and easier schema management. The result was 4x faster SQL queries, up to 25% lower server costs for customers, and the potential to save tens of millions of dollars in in-app purchase losses by reducing fraud.
