Tabcorp, a leading Australian wagering and entertainment company, serves customers across mobile apps, venues, call centers and broadcast channels, but fragmented systems created data delays and a disconnected customer view. Working with Databricks and its Data Intelligence Platform, Tabcorp needed a way to unify siloed data, support real-time decision-making, strengthen compliance and improve personalized customer experiences.
Databricks helped Tabcorp modernize its data architecture with Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, Lakeflow Jobs, MLflow and Mosaic AI, creating a single customer view and enabling advanced ML and GenAI use cases. The results included decommissioning seven legacy systems, expanding models in production from 5 to 40+, saving $1.75 million in platform costs, and achieving 3–5x productivity gains while improving safer gambling interventions and customer engagement.
