EVPassport, which provides electric vehicle charging as an infrastructure-as-a-service solution, needed a better way to unify data from multiple systems and improve reporting, analytics, and utilization insights across its charging network. Databricks implemented the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform and Delta Lake to centralize EVPassport’s data from systems like Stripe, Salesforce, and MongoDB, with Tableau used for visualization. The result was a major efficiency boost: month-end reporting that previously took half a day now takes minutes, and the company can move data faster between teams while laying the groundwork for predictive maintenance, natural-language data access, and AI-driven support through Databricks Mosaic AI.
