Hapag-Lloyd, a global shipping company, faced slow and inconsistent corporate audit processes that relied heavily on manual documentation, report writing, and review. To improve efficiency and accuracy, the company turned to Databricks Mosaic AI to support generative AI use cases for audit finding generation, executive summaries, and a documentation chatbot.

Databricks helped Hapag-Lloyd build and deploy two GenAI prototypes on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform, streamlining audit workflows and making information easier to retrieve. The result was a 66% decrease in review time per finding and a 77% reduction in time needed to review executive summaries, enabling faster, more accurate audit reporting and better decision-making.
