A Databricks Case Study
Mews, a cloud-based property management platform serving more than 3,500 hospitality brands, needed a way to unify scattered customer data so its marketing and product teams could segment audiences and send personalized communications. The company chose Databricks, using Azure Databricks as its data platform, after its existing systems and custom scripts made it difficult to create a clear customer view.
Databricks helped Mews build an open data lakehouse, and the company paired it with Hightouch to automate data syncs from Databricks into Intercom. This gave teams access to fresh, curated customer data for granular segmentation, multi-touch journeys, and product updates without manual CSV uploads. As a result, Mews increased personalization across campaigns and achieved higher-than-ever customer engagement.
