Celtra is a provider of scalable HTML5 advertising technology (AdCreator 4) used by agencies and brands to create, manage and optimize data-driven display ads. As usage and data volumes grew—tens of terabytes per month across diverse sources—the four-person analytics team became a bottleneck, preventing timely product analysis, anomaly detection and performance tuning.
Celtra adopted Databricks as a centralized, zero‑management Spark platform with seamless data connectors and an interactive notebook workspace that let Engineering, Product and QA run analyses directly and reuse production code. Within four months this self‑service model increased ad‑hoc analysis six‑fold and expanded the number of people working with the data by four times, while improving collaboration and reproducibility and reducing cloud infrastructure costs.
