Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) needed to modernize its outdated data infrastructure to keep pace with rising digital banking demand and support more seamless customer experiences. Its complex legacy data lake made it difficult to manage growing volumes of data and slowed customer-focused innovation, so SCB turned to Databricks and the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

With Databricks, SCB established a single source of truth using Delta Lake, improved governance with Unity Catalog, streamlined ML work with MLflow, and used Databricks SQL and Lakeflow Jobs to speed analytics and operations. The bank reported gains in productivity, onboarding speed, and data performance, while also modernizing loan approvals from weeks of manual processing to instant decisions and enabling more personalized recommendations and digital experiences across channels.
