Data Theorem helps Cvent accelerate the vulnerability management process for their clients' global apps

Cvent, a provider of event and hospitality software, faced challenges with a manual security process for its applications developed using open-source tools. They needed a solution to integrate security into their software development lifecycle to accelerate releases and ensure security during pre-production. To address this, Cvent turned to vendor Data Theorem and its Mobile Secure product to automate and enhance their vulnerability management.

Data Theorem implemented a solution that automated security testing and integrated it throughout Cvent's development process. The results were significant: Data Theorem identified more issues than previous methods, prevented app store delays by catching blockers pre-production, and helped close 137 security issues while removing 20 harmful third-party libraries.
