Riyadh Air builds enterprise data trust across 14 domains with Data Sentinel

The customer, Riyadh Air, faced significant challenges including immediate NDMO regulatory compliance requirements across 14 domains, rapid data sprawl due to expansion, and a lack of a governed foundation for its AI initiatives. To address these issues, they partnered with the vendor Data Sentinel to implement its sensitive data management platform and establish an Enterprise Data & AI Trust Layer.

The solution designed by Data Sentinel involved creating a new Data & AI Trust operating model, drafting foundational governance frameworks, and launching a controlled customer data pilot to integrate a unified Trust Layer architecture. The results achieved by February 2026 included drafted core governance authority structures, an initial customer data trust pilot in progress, a consolidated policy framework, and active data quality remediation establishing a baseline. This provided Riyadh Air with a structured path to NDMO compliance, reduced risk before a full enterprise rollout, and created a controlled foundation for future AI enablement.
