Mid-Atlantic University worked with Data Networks to modernize and secure its identity and access management as its application footprint expanded across on-premises and cloud systems. With new finance and student information systems adding complexity, the university needed a way to protect sensitive data, simplify access for students, faculty, and staff, and replace siloed security tools with a more manageable “single source of truth.”

Data Networks implemented Microsoft Azure Active Directory Premium P2 with single sign-on, multifactor authentication, conditional access, self-service password reset, and privileged identity management. The new solution improved security by blocking legacy authentication, reduced password reset requests, and gave IT better visibility through security and risk reporting. With support from Data Networks, Mid-Atlantic University modernized authentication, strengthened protection, and simplified administration across its environment.
