Case Study: EPMG achieves cloud-based Office 365 migration with Data Networks

IMPLEMENTING OFFICE 365 for Emergency Physicians Medical Group

Emergency Physicians Medical Group (EPMG), a multi-state provider of emergency care with more than 600 physicians and about 700 users, needed to replace an aging client/server email and office environment built on Exchange 2007 and Windows Server 2003. Facing rising costs, mobile access demands, and high availability and disaster recovery requirements, EPMG selected Data Networks to help evaluate and move to Microsoft Office 365.

Data Networks planned and executed the migration, synchronizing Active Directory, setting up Office 365 accounts, and moving more than 600 GB of archived email plus nearly 1 TB of files and data using QUADROtech tools for archive and mailbox migration. The cutover was completed over a weekend with minimal disruption, and EPMG reported improved mailbox performance, easier IT management, stronger archiving and disaster recovery, and better support for mobile devices in the field.
