Case Study: Maxeda DIY Group achieves a Single Customer View in 2 months with Data Ladder's DataMatch Enterprise

A Data Ladder Case Study

Preview of the Maxeda DIY Group Case Study

Maxeda successfully creates a single customer view by linking disparate records across two countries

Maxeda DIY Group, a Dutch retail chain with 376 stores and nearly 7,000 employees across the Netherlands and Belgium, faced fragmented, dirty customer data spread across legacy systems, multiple countries and brands. To support digital growth, personalized marketing, and migration into a new CRM and PIM, Maxeda engaged Data Ladder and its DataMatch Enterprise solution to clean, standardize and consolidate customer records.

Data Ladder used DataMatch Enterprise to profile, verify addresses, cleanse and standardize fields, and fuzzy-match and deduplicate records from five data sources across three brands in two countries to create a single customer view. The project delivered a centralized, accurate customer dataset in just two months with a three-person team (vs. an estimated six months and ten IT staff manually), enabling Maxeda to load the unified view into their new CRM/PIM and begin personalized marketing immediately.
