Curtin University’s Centre for Data Linkage needed to benchmark record-linkage software using manually reviewed patient datasets (40,000 to 4 million records) to improve healthcare research and patient outcomes. Data Ladder participated in the independent multi-vendor study (alongside vendors such as IBM and SAS DataFlux) by submitting its DataMatch Enterprise product for evaluation.

Data Ladder’s DataMatch Enterprise achieved the top results in Curtin’s tests, delivering 96% match accuracy (with false positives accounted for), very fast processing (time to first result ~15 minutes), and purchase/licensing costs reported 80–95% below competitors; IBM placed second with 91% accuracy at a much higher price point. Data Ladder’s in-memory, multi-threaded matching and built-in standardization libraries enabled faster iterations and clearly improved linkage performance on large datasets.
