Sertec is a UK-based Tier 1 automotive supplier with six manufacturing sites, more than 1,100 employees and customers including Ford and Jaguar Land Rover. Rapid growth brought increased sales and more complex customer requirements, creating a need for a reliable, scalable EDI solution to onboard hundreds of suppliers, automate ASNs and invoices, and free internal resources from daily transaction handling.

In 2013 Sertec outsourced EDI to Data Interchange’s Managed Services and Dinet Integration Network, which handled day‑to‑day transactions, ensured seamless transition, and enabled onboarding of 180+ suppliers. The result was greater reliability and uptime, faster and more accurate data exchange, automated processes for ASNs and invoices, measurable supplier performance, and freed internal teams to focus on core business and data analysis.
