Weland is a family-owned Swedish manufacturer (founded 1947) with 17 subsidiaries serving customers across multiple industries. As their business grew, a legacy EDI setup could no longer meet diverse customer integration requirements or support efficient collaboration across the group.

Data Interchange implemented Odex Enterprise with the Dinet Integration Network, creating a single secure ERP connection and managing all customer links to reduce EDI complexity. The solution enabled e-invoicing for eight subsidiaries (shortening order-to-payment cycles and cutting stationery/postage/admin costs), added freight-ordering for ~200 IFTMIN messages/day integrated with the ERP (bringing the process in-house in six months), and provided a scalable platform for future growth.
