A large not-for-profit health care system needed to modernize 150 TB of medical image data from 92 of its hospitals. The challenge involved decommissioning outdated PACS systems while maintaining access to the data, classifying the images to gain insights, and migrating everything to a new, cost-effective storage platform. The system lacked knowledge of its patient data and was facing high maintenance costs and end-of-support for its old infrastructure.

Data Dynamics implemented its StorageX solution, utilizing its F2O API. This technology seamlessly migrated each image to a new NetApp StorageGrid system, transforming them into objects with intelligent tags based on metadata analysis.
