Paragon Group, a UK specialist lender and loan servicer, needed to improve document management as its organic and acquired business volumes grew. Its mailroom and imaging processes were highly manual, inconsistent across divisions, and lacked live workflow monitoring, causing delays, re-keying, and bottlenecks. Data Capture Solutions (DCS) was brought in to review the processes and recommend a better use of technology, including Kofax-based capture and imaging tools.

Data Capture Solutions implemented a phased mailroom automation solution using an upgraded Kofax platform, including Kofax Capture, Kofax VRS, Kofax Capture Import Connector, and Kofax KTM, alongside new scanner infrastructure. This enabled automated scanning and data extraction from both paper and electronic documents, reduced manual handling and errors, improved turnaround times, and created a more secure, auditable workflow with better MI and disaster recovery capability.
