Charity Sector Document Management, a UK charity supporting older people and their families, needed to digitise and securely store both existing and future records before moving to a smaller London HQ. Data Capture Solutions helped address the challenge of converting paper holdings into an electronic document management system, with support for back-scanning and ongoing document capture.

Data Capture Solutions implemented a back-scanning service, collecting and scanning around 50 boxfuls of documents per week using Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation, then setting up FileStore EDM storage for the charity. The solution transformed paper documents into structured electronic information that could be transferred to the charity’s HR and case management applications, while enabling the client to continue digitising new documents in-house.
