How Char-Broil Fires Up Its Email Marketing Initiatives

Char-Broil, a longtime outdoor cooking brand and division of W.C. Bradley Co., wanted to improve and standardize its email marketing across two programs, “Offers” and “Newsletter.” After selecting Data Axle as its email marketing partner, the company needed help with onboarding, database migration, and creating a more effective, mobile-friendly email experience.

Data Axle provided dedicated account management, a cross-channel email platform, and custom email templates through its agency services team, along with a mobile-focused style guide. The changes cut email production time by more than 50%, increased the click rate for the redesigned newsletter by 11.8% and the Offers program by 44.4%, and helped the new Welcome series achieve a 49.7% open rate and 18.6% click rate.
